BUNAC are partnered with SWAP Working Holidays in Canada and for 2019 are able to offer a limited number of RO (Recognised Organisation) Letters to UK passport holders. This means that we are able to facilitate IEC visa invites to UK participants wanting to live and work in Canada for up to two years.

The Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programme means those who want to work in Canada, and are eligibile for an IEC visa, can receive an expedited IEC visa invite from the pool.

There are two programme options to choose from:

Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination Essentials - £539

Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination Ultimate - £679

Keep an eye on our website for more news when our IEC Pool nomination programme will be available! The BUNAC team are available to answer any questions you have on this programme by calling 0333 999 7516

Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination FAQs

Why does BUNAC have IEC Pool Nominations?

BUNAC are partnered with SWAP, an organisation that has been allocated a number of "RO Letters" ("Recognised Organisation" letters). This means that BUNAC is able to provide applicants with a RO Letter on our new Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programmes. If you book onto our Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programmes you will receive RO assistance to be nominated for selection from the UK IEC visa pool.

How can I get an IEC Pool Nomination?

We will be opening up our Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programmes at 9:30am on Tuesday 7th May. The places will be available on a first come first served basis. Please call the office on 0333 999 7516 to secure your space. They will not be available to reserve online. We are expecting the places to be in high demand and fill up quickly.

How much does Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination cost?
There are two programme options to choose from :

Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination Essentials - £539
Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination Ultimate - £679

These include the same inclusions as our normal Work Canada Essentials and Work Canada Ultimate programmes, plus the RO Letter which allows you to have an IEC Pool Nomination.

Please note that the amount must be paid upfront and in full - we will not take deposits. As with our regular Work Canada programmes this cost covers the support programme, and the RO Letter. This price does not include the cost of the visa itself, the ACRO Police Check, Support Funds and Biometrics Appointment. For a full breakdown of other costs please see our Work Canada Costs page.

If I choose an IEC Pool Nomination programme place, and then change my mind can I get a refund?

No. Once a RO Letter has been allocated to you, it can then only be used by you. If you change your mind, or can no longer use your RO Letter to receive your IEC visa, you will not be able to get any costs refunded.

Why is the Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programme more expensive than the regular Work Canada programme?

The Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programmes are more expensive than their standard Work Canada counterparts. This is because of the additional fees associated with the RO Letter issuing process.

How do I know if I am eligible for a RO Letter / IEC Pool Nomination?
The eligibility for a RO Letter / IEC Pool Nomination is the same as that of the regular IEC visas. You can find out if you are eligible here. If you have any questions about whether you are eligible for our Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination programmes, then please speak to us before you select the programme. Email us any questions to enquiries@bunac.org.uk or call us on 0333 999 7516. You can also ask us via live chat on our website, or complete the Visa Assessment Form.

I am already on your regular Work Canada programmes / in the IEC visa pool - can I get an IEC Pool Nomination?

Yes you can. Ring up to secure yours on the 7th May from 9:30am and we will let you know what steps to take. If you have already paid your £75 deposit for our regular Work Canada programme, this will be taken off the amount you have to pay for your spot on Work Canada IEC Pool Nomination.
