Sales Specialist

Position overview

Completed a working holiday visa abroad? Taken part in an internship abroad? Or even been on a volunteering programme? Then this is the perfect job for you!  

Working directly with the sales team you will be responsible for engaging with customers enquiring about programmes and attending events. 

What you're accountable for

  • Increasing the number of participants on programmes
  • Scheduling follow-up calls and inputting data
  • Providing informative and friendly advice to potential members
  • Meet and exceed personal objectives, including sales, revenue, conversion, and productivity targets
  • Always offer first class customer service
  • Arrange pre-departure calls with customers to ensure they are ready for their trip
  • Organise video appointments with potential leads
  • Sell attachments such as insurance / tours
  • Attend events to represent

Other contributions

  • Commitment to and involvement in overall company objectives
  • The ability to work with initiative and manage high workload so that all enquiries and applications are dealt with in a timely manner
  • A willingness to develop knowledge and understanding of all BUNA programmes and contribute towards other business area operations when required.
  • A willingness to work within a structured office routine as well as the ability to accept variation from this routine when necessary.
  • Attend and actively participate in regular team and 1:1 meetings

Position Details 

Reports to: Head of Sales 
Start Date: November 22 – onwards 
Contract type: Full Time - Permanent
Salary: 20-25k
Base: 5 Richbell Place, Holborn (London). Work form home possible but must be able to access London regularly
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Usually Monday - Friday 9AM - 5:30 PM with some flexibility  

Ideally you will:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good word and excel skills are essential
  • Good organisational skills and a good track record of being a team player
  • Actively uses all opportunities to gain contacts and build customer base
  • Previous sales experience desirable but not essential
  • Able to maintain motivation when working alone and within a team
  • Ability to plan current and future workloads, well organised, methodical & accurate & time management

BUNAC Campus Reps

Do you love travel, or are you dreaming of travelling abroad after graduating? Are you looking for a side hustle that is flexible enough to fit in with your Uni schedule? Then becoming a BUNAC Brand Ambassador may be the perfect fit for you!

 

We’re looking for outgoing and creative students to represent BUNAC on campus. We need Brand Ambassadors who can increase the profile and awareness of BUNAC programmes like Work America, Summer Camp USA & Work Canada etc. 

Your Core Duties

  • To represent BUNAC on your universities campus
  • Identify key events at your university for BUNAC to attend and/or sponsor
  • To promote BUNAC and BUNAC programmes on campus through the distribution of posters and flyers as you see fit/as needed
  • Provide support at BUNAC information sessions and events in the area, as well as taking part in any other promotions that may arise during the year
  • Generate ideas for promoting BUNAC products and services on campus
  • Receive feedback from other students within the college and pass this onto the BUNAC marketing department in the form of bi-monthly reports, with any and all information that may be of interest to BUNAC (such as student trends on campus etc.)
  • Take photos and videos to be shared on BUNAC's social media platforms

As compensation for your hard work, you will receive credit towards a BUNAC programme or a voucher of your choice.
