Upon arrival to China, you and your fellow interns will be met by the in-country support team and taken to your accommodations. You will be staying here for one week, gaining the opportunity to explore the city and country you will be living in for 6 months! You will be learning some basic Mandarin during this orientation, which you will be able to test out during your excursions.
Once you have completed your internship, you will have plenty of time to explore China as well as the opportunity to take part in an amazing group trips depending on the time of year!
For the February start date, there is the Harbin Snow and Ice Festival. The Festival runs from the beginning of January until the end of February.
Harbin has ice hotels, ice-skating, skiing, snow-mobiling as well as dog-sledding and Siberian Tiger watching; there is plenty to explore and to get involved in!**
