    What is Work America?

With super social Work America you'll be living the American dream all summer long, working an ordinary job in an extraordinary location. We'll help you score your job and your J-1 visa so you can spend your summer working in some of America's most popular tourist destinations, living and working where Americans go on holiday - and with our Ultimate programme we'll also set you up with flights and accommodation too! To top it off, once your Work America job has finished you've got an extra 30 days to tour around the country to your heart's content!

Oli's Work America video series is here!

    Work America Vlogs: Part One

Work America participant Oli Hopkin spent his summer living, working and documenting his adventures in American summer hot spot Ocean City. Oli documented his experiences over the 4 month process and his 3 part series is now live! Get the popcorn ready - it's time to watch as he covers the pre-America preparation and jitters before he set off on his summer of cultural exchange and epic exploring.

    Part Two: The Arrival

Packed and ready to go, Oli flies from London Heathrow to New York's JFK, where he catches a train to Ocean City, Maryland. He gives us a grand tour of his accommodation and introduces us to his room mates. Settling down for the summer has never been more fun.

    Part Three: On the job

In part 3, Oli is well and truly living the American dream. He runs us through the daily routine of his summer job, including the uniform he wears to work (red and white stripes) to the time he clocks in for his shift each sunny morning by the beach. An ordinary job in an extraordinary location if ever there was one!
