It’s really easy to get your Intern and Work Combo adventure started. Follow these simple steps and you’ll be on your way to Canada before you know it. ## Sign up and pay deposit Sign up on our website or **[give us a call](/contact-bunac)** to pay your deposit. Our Intern and Work specialist will then give you a call to explain the process, at which point we will request documents from you including your resume and a cover letter. ## Welcome Call A member of our team in Vancouver will be in contact to welcome you onto the program, this normally happens over Skype. You will have a chat about what it is you are looking for, your personal goals and your desired start date. You will also have a chat about your job opportunities and be given more information on the job market in your chosen city. ## Finding your perfect placement Once we have your details and requirements we will start contacting our network of employers to find you an internship which matches your needs. When we have found a possible match we will set up a Skype or phone interview between you and the employer. ## Placement Agreement Once we have found you the perfect placement, we will draft an internship contract for you and your employer to sign. The agreement secures your internship and gives us the go-ahead to set you up for arriving in Canada .Once your internship has been secured, we will talk through your accommodation options and give you more information on everything you need to prepare for Canada. ## Planning your trip Our experienced team members are standing by to help you plan the rest of your trip. This includes help with all necessary preparation including visa, insurance, accommodation and flights. Congratulations! You are about to embark on an incredible journey. ## Arriving in Canada We know it can be overwhelming arriving in a foreign country, so we want to take the stress and nerves out of your arrival. If you are staying with a host family, we’ll pick you up from the airport and take you to your intern accommodation. If you are staying in a hostel we will provide extensive details on how to get there. You’ll be invited to one of our orientation sessions in our office, where you’ll be welcomed to your new environment and provided tips and recommendations about what to do, where to go and what you need to know. You will also have a sit down with a member of the team who will go through your employment options with you. ## Finding the right job for you A member of our in country team will assist you with finding a job once you arrive in Vancouver as most employers are looking for staff to start immediately. Once you are settled in your new internship and job, a member of our team will be there with ongoing support for you.
