Then look no further than the Work America and Work USA programs.

During the summer (June – October) BUNAC assists thousands of university students from Britain, Ireland and Europe to work in the USA through our Work America program and during the winter (November – February) students from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to work in the USA on our Work USA program. All participants on Work America and Work USA are sponsored by IENA (International Exchange of North America).

All students will have a valid work permit (Summer Work Travel visa) authorized by the USA Government. They also receive detailed printed materials and attend pre-departure and arrival orientations to prepare them for working and living in the USA. All participants are university students and are generally extremely conscientious, flexible, well-motivated and hard working.

This is a reciprocal program. BUNAC operates similar programs which enable thousands of young Americans to work and travel in Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. So if you know of any American student who may be interested in one of these programs then please ask them to contact us!

Once you have hired a BUNAC participant please notify BUNAC.

An easy way to do this is to download and complete the Employer Job Form which can then be faxed to BUNAC (Fax: 212-316-3182 between beginning of June and end of August or 0-11-44-207-250-0722 all other times). We would also suggest sending a copy of this form to the participant or ensuring that they also receive written confirmation from yourself regarding confirmation of employment.
