Eligibility & Costs
To apply to Intern in Britain via the BUNAC USA office, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Hold a valid passport
- Currently be studying in the USA or be a US national studying elsewhere
- Currently be a full-time degree level student, or a graduate intending to begin the internship no more than 12 months beyond the end of study
- Hold an acceptable internship offer in the UK for up to 6 months
- Have sufficient support funds see below.

** Participants must have adequate medical and accident insurance coverage for the
full duration of their stay in the UK. We suggest that you take advantage of BUNAC’s
comprehensive and tailor-made travel (i.e. more than just medical) policy which
has been developed exclusively for BUNAC participants. Full insurance policy details
are available.
Participants who already have acceptable, equivalent insurance of not less than
£1 million medical coverage must provide a copy of their policy with the application
for approval by BUNAC.
