How to Book
Once you have paid your initial £100 deposit you will gain access to BUNAC’s Work Canada programme which includes expert IEC preparation advice in our stage one webinar, to fully prepare you for the IEC visa release date, as well as having access to group flight options via Iceland, and bespoke insurance options to cover both work and play so you can start your adventure without any hiccups!
Once you have your World Tracking Number number you will pay the balance of your Work Canada registration fee to gain access to our stage two webinar so you are fully clued up on the application process for your IEC visa, in-country support or Ultimate Package programme. We will also send you your code for your Lonely Planet guidebook and send you a BUNAC t-shirt in the post.
A member of the BUNAC team will then call you to discuss your booking and motivations for going to Canada. We want to make sure we can match you to a job according to your preferences so don’t be shy! Once we have found a position for you we will be in touch to arrange your in-person or Skype interview. On your online account you will find interview advice, tips on adapting your CV to Canadian standards and information on what Canadian employers are looking for.
It is a visa requirement that you have travel insurance for the duration of your visa. Check out our insurance page to view BUNAC’s bespoke work abroad policy
You will need to book flights, we recommend our group flight as it offers you the chance to meet others heading out to Canada as well! If you are wanting to make your own way to Canada be sure to contact our travel partner STA travel, you can reach them on 0333 321 3102 to reach them on their dedicated BUNAC line.
Once you have been issued your Letter of Introduction, booked your flights and insurance you are ready to fly to Canada!
For Ultimate Package members – you will have your job already arranged so you are ready to begin your stress free adventure!
For Essentials Package members – you will need to let us know when you are arriving into Canada so that we can arrange your welcome orientation. We have resource centres based in Toronto and Vancouver who will be on hand to give you assistance in gaining employment in Canada, giving you access to popular job listings and offering advice on adjusting to Canada life.
