How to Book

1. £100 deposit and interview

Once you have paid your initial £100 deposit you will gain access to BUNAC’s Work Canada programme which includes expert visa guidance. Our BUNAC team will be on hand to answer all your visa questions to give you the best possible chance of obtaining the IEC Work Permit. On your online account you will also find step by step guides on filling out your visa paperwork.

2. Second payment

Once you have your IEC Work Permit you can pay the balance of your Work Canada registration fee to gain access to our in-country support or full placement programme.

3. Interview (Full Placement members only)

A member of the BUNAC team will then call you to discuss your booking and motivations for going to Canada. We want to make sure we can match you to a job according to your preferences so don’t be shy! Once we have found a position for you we will be in touch to arrange your in-person or Skype interview. On your online account you will find interview advice, tips on adapting your CV to Canadian standards and information on what Canadian employers are looking for.

4. Book insurance and flights

It is a visa requirement that you have travel insurance for the duration of your visa. Check out our insurance page to view BUNAC’s bespoke work abroad policy

You will need to book flights, we recommend our partners STA travel, you can reach them on 0871 468 0666 to reach them on their dedicated BUNAC line.

5. Travel to Canada

Once you have been issued your Letter of Introduction, booked your flights and insurance you are ready to fly to Canada!

For Full Placement members – you will have your job already arranged so you are ready to begin your stress free adventure!

For Self Placement members – you will need to let us know when you are arriving into Canada so that we can arrange your welcome orientation. We have resource centres based in Toronto and Vancouver who will be on hand to give you assistance in gaining employment in Canada, giving you access to popular job listings and offering advice on adjusting to Canada life.
