What is included in the registration fee?
- Verification of internship (excluding site visit fee if required)
- Assistance with all aspects of the programme application process
- Assistance with the J-1 visa application process
- We obtain your DS-2019 which is needed for the US Embassy interview
- Detailed participant handbook containing important information
- Health/travel insurance
- Orientation in the USA
- 24/7 emergency contact and support
- Monitor and evaluate services throughout programme to ensure that the goals of the
training are being fulfilled.
- Option to travel in US for 30 days after the training placement has been completed.
Other costs
- Visa fee to the US Embassy - $140
- Transport to/from your interview at the US Embassy
- Flights – we would strongly advise you not to book any non-transferable, non-refundable
flights until you have your visa
- You must have sufficient funds to support yourself for your entire stay in the US
including housing and living expenses. You will need at least $1500 at the start
of the programme
- A site visit by the sponsor to the host company may be required before the internship
can be approved. If this is necessary, an additional fee of £200 will charged
You need to allow approximately 10 weeks for the application process.
