VOLUNTEER PROGRAMMES ASSISTANT CO-ORDINATOR.

BUNAC, the market leader in overseas work/travel exchange programmes, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic assistant co-ordinator for its Volunteer Programmes department.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with:
- Strong administrative experience gained in an office environment.
- First-rate organisational skills.
- Experience and confidence in public speaking.
- Personal travel experience of one or more of the following destinations: Ghana, South Africa, Costa Rica, Peru or Cambodia; preferably in a volunteer or work capacity.
The London based job primarily involves:
- Processing programme applications; which will include conducting applicant interviews, booking flights, insurance and arranging visas.
- Promoting BUNAC’s volunteer programmes through presentations, travel fairs and programme literature.
You will be responding to a wide variety of enquiries in person, by e-mail and on the telephone so good customer service skills and a sound knowledge of the destinations is required.
The post reports to the Department Manager.
