Free programme talks
To help you decide which programme is right for you,
BUNAC holds year-round programme presentations in many towns and cities throughout the UK.
Talks are free and friends and parents are welcome to attend. This is the ideal opportunity to talk to BUNAC staff, many of whom are past participants
or experienced travellers, about living and working overseas. You cac also pick up an application form on the programme of your choice.
Work and volunteer overseas
A UK market leader in work abroad programmes, BUNAC (British Universities North
America Club) offers eligible applicants aged 18 and over, a unique opportunity
to spend extended time living, working and travelling overseas.
Opportunities range from the popular camp counselling programme, Summer Camp USA,
and flexible work and travel programmes in Canada, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand
to volunteering/teaching placements in Africa, South and Central America, South
East Asia and, new for this year, China. Programmes last from as little as five
weeks to as long as two whole years. Participants can take part in a BUNAC programme
as part of their summer vacation, during a gap year, after graduation or as a career
break. Most programmes are open to 30 or 35 year olds.
See the world, change your life
On a BUNAC programme, you have the chance to experience the real everyday working
life of a country and explore some of the world's most amazing places during your
stay. Imagine all those destinations you've always wanted to visit. From the Grand
Canyon to the Great Barrier Reef, from the ski resorts of Banff to the beaches of
Queensland, from San Jose to Siem Reap, the choice is entirely yours!
Whichever programme you choose, you'll be in a different culture, gaining job and

to be one of your most fun, memorable and life-changing experiences ever.
