BUNAC (the British Universities North America Club) is a non-profit, non-political member-directed student organization with clubs on most British campuses.

For 38 years, BUNAC has operated programs for UK students to work and participate in foreign cultures, mainly in North America. Work in Britain is the reciprocal program for American students wishing to experience Britain. BUNAC maintains offices in London, Edinburgh and Southbury, CT.

Independence, affordability, flexibility, friendship, excitement and security - the hallmarks of BUNAC. Special concessions to make these work and travel programs possible for students and young people have been hard won from governments over several years.

The result is an amazing opportunity for you to create your own work/travel overseas adventure. BUNAC will be there to help you both before you go and after you arrive, your security blanket if things go wrong, but you will be the one to make it work.

BUNAC is a founder member of IAEWEP, the International Association of Educational and Work Exchange Programmes.
